Privacy Policy

Arun Shabari GiriRaj Ayyappar, operating as CHEEKYGOOSE LABS (“we”) operates Slaydit. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, where it goes, and how you get it back or delete it.

What we collect

Only what the product needs to work:

• Account — your email address, display name and password (stored only as a bcrypt hash; we never see the password itself).
• Career information you provide — résumés you upload, your name, work history, certifications, target roles, prepared answers and stories, and expected salary range if you enter one.
• Interview content — job descriptions, company research, questions detected during a session, and the answers we generate.
• Live audio — during a live session, audio is streamed to our speech provider and converted to text. We do not store the audio. The resulting text is processed to produce your answer.
• Devices — when you pair the desktop app, we record a device label, platform and last-seen time so you can sign it out remotely.
• Usage — feature events and API usage, so we can keep the service running and understand what to improve.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your résumé or interview content to train our own models.

Where your data is stored

Our production servers and database are located in the United States (Oregon), operated by Hetzner. If you are in Canada or elsewhere, your personal information is transferred to and stored in the United States, where it may be accessible to US authorities under US law. By using Slaydit you consent to that transfer. Our processors listed below may handle data in other countries.

Who else handles your data

We use these providers. Each receives only what its job requires, and none of them may use your data for their own purposes:

• Anthropic — generating interview answers and coaching
• OpenAI — generating interview answers and coaching
• Deepgram — converting speech to text during a live session
• Tavily and Serper — researching companies you add an interview for
• Stripe — taking payment as merchant of record, and storing card details
• Resend — sending account and product emails
• Hetzner — hosting the servers and database

Card numbers go directly to Stripe and never reach our servers. We store only a Stripe customer reference and your subscription status.

How long we keep it

Your content stays until you delete it or close your account. Some records — invoices and payment history — are kept longer where tax and accounting law requires it.

Your rights

You can see the information in your account at any time from your profile, and you canpermanently delete your account and everything linked to it from profile settings; this removes your résumés, stories, interviews and scores from our database, deletes your Stripe customer record, and cannot be undone. For a copy of your data, email us and we will send it — there is no one-click export button yet, and we would rather say so than imply one exists.

If you are in Canada, you have rights under PIPEDA to access your personal information and challenge its accuracy. If you are in the EEA or UK, you additionally have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. To exercise any of these, email hey@slaydit.ai.

Security

Traffic is encrypted in transit. Passwords are hashed, never stored in readable form. Resetting your password invalidates sessions issued before the reset, and you can sign out any paired device remotely. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise — if a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authority as required.

Children

Slaydit is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that materially affects you, we will tell you by email before it takes effect.
