Refunds & Cancellation
Last updated 29 July 2026
Plain version: you can cancel whenever you like, you keep what you paid for until the end of that period, and we don't charge you again. The detail is below.
Cancelling
Cancel any time from Billing in your account — no email required, nobody to talk to. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and renews no further. You will see the exact end date on the billing page.
Changed your mind? You can resume from the same screen any time before that date, and nothing will have been lost.
Refunds
Slaydit is US$25 per month, billed in advance. Because cancelling leaves your access running to the end of the period you paid for, we do not give partial refunds for the unused remainder of a month.
We will refund you in full if:
- you were charged after cancelling;
- you were charged more than once for the same period;
- the service was substantially unavailable for a significant part of your billing period; or
- we close your account for a reason that isn't your breach of the terms.
Outside those cases, if something has gone wrong, write to us anyway — hey@slaydit.ai. We would rather sort out a genuine problem than have you dispute a charge.
If a payment fails
If we cannot charge your card, your paid access stops and we will email you. Nothing is deleted — your résumés, stories and interviews stay exactly where they are, and updating your payment method restores access immediately.
Your data after cancelling
Cancelling stops the billing; it does not delete anything. Your account reverts to the free plan and your work stays available. If you want it erased, delete your account from profile settings — that is permanent and covered in the Privacy Policy.
Your legal rights
Nothing here affects rights you have under consumer protection law where you live, including any statutory right to cancel or to a remedy for a service not supplied as described.
Who takes the payment
Payments are processed by Stripe, which acts as our merchant of record. That means Stripe is the seller shown on your card statement and receipt, and is responsible for any sales tax or VAT on your purchase. Refunds are issued through Stripe and appear from the same name as the original charge.
